Depressed by Brexit? In need of literary and musical sustenance? Come to Literaturhaus Berlin, Fasanenstraße 23, Berlin at 7.30pm on Friday, 29 March 2019 for a night of readings and music: “Brexit? And Now What”.
A co-operation between The Centre for British Studies, Humboldt-Universität, The English Faculty, Oxford University, TORCH, Oxford, and Literaturhaus Berlin, Deveron Projects, Scotland, SAND magazine Berlin.
Berlin writers Priya Basil, Musa Okwongwa, Kate McNaughton, Lucy Jones, Paul Scraton, Scott Martingell, Jacinta Nandi, Ben Fergusson, Jo Frank, Alistair Noon, Alec Finlay and Patricia Duncker from the UK will read and perform, with Asmus Trautsch taking us through the night. Music by Musa Okwongwa’s band BBXO. Yael Inokai, Daniela Dröscher, Christian Dittloff and Paula Fürstenberg will be writing on site, and the artist and film director Clemens Wilhelm will show his work. Food, drink, music, literature – come to the Brexit Wake tomorrow!
